Grand Parade Ltd was founded in 2007 by Andy Clerkson and Ed Needham, pioneers of men's lifestyle magazines in Britain and America.
Managing Director
Andy Clerkson worked in magazines since 1990 in the UK and USA. He launched Stuff magazine UK in 1996 for Dennis Publishing and Stuff magazine USA in 1999. In 2002 he became Publisher of Maxim magazine USA, which became the largest men’s magazine in the world. From 2004-2006, he was responsible for creative output of all Dennis Publishing Inc magazines (Maxim, Blender and Stuff) and brand extensions including websites, television and radio.

Ed Needham has worked in magazines since the mid-nineties, most recently in New York, where he was Editor-in-Chief of Maxim (2004-2006), the biggest men’s title in the US. Prior to that he was Managing Editor of Rolling Stone (2002-2004), and prior to that he was the launch editor and Editor-in-Chief of the US version of FHM magazine. Before moving to the US in 1999, Ed was the editor of FHM in the UK, and achieved an unprecedented average monthly circulation of 750,000, which made it the most popular monthly magazine in Europe at the time. Ed won the magazine industry’s prestigious PPA Magazine Editor of the Year in 1998.

Jane Duggan created Scrum.com, the first rugby union website, at EMAP in the late nineties and went on to become New Media Director where she was responsible for FHM, Q, New Woman and Empire magazine online. Jane left Emap to co-found Madforsport.com, a network of sports sites including madforsailing, madformountainbiking and madforscuba. Somewhere shortly after the first internet boom, Jane decided to pursue her interest in the music industry, managing Mercury Music Prize nominated Tom McRae and using her extensive sponsorship experience to launch Jam2day a specialist sponsorship agency operating in the music sector. Jane is responsible for advertising and sponsorship on all Grand Parade websites.
